With Platz nehmen No. 3: Right of Passage—Wegerecht, we aim to highlight how visual art can use its means to convey the concerns of democracy, the public sphere, and public space while inviting participation. Similar bridges for translation and engagement playfully explore social and democratic boundaries—encouraging us to recognize our exclusions and the barriers. The work highlights themes of social empathy, obstacles, and art’s role in shaping public space.
